We are so sad about uncle Ernies passing. He was always fun to be around. He had quite the sense of humor! Dad and mom loved visiting with both uncle Ernie and aunt Joyce when they all got together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during these sad days. Love to all.

Was so sorry to hear of Ernie’s passing. We looked forward to greeting him if he was in the dining room when we went up to see my mother. He was such a nice guy and so pleasant.

I was so sad when I heard of Ernest's passing. He and Joyce were such good friends of my parents and now they've all passed. My dad referred to him as the professor. I have so many fond memories of going to Ray and spending time playing with Jan as our parents played cards. I imagine they've already got some card games going on in heaven. My sympathies are with you all.

Mr. Halseth was my sixth grade teacher in Westby. Also in my class was David and Dean Halserh who I became friends with. I also spent time out on the Halseth farm and got to meet some of Dean’s friends in Ray. Peace be with Ernest Halseth and with the Halseth family.

So sorry for your loss..Earnest was my 6th grade teacher in Westby…He taught history…I thought he was a tough teacher! I barely made it to the next grade! I was not a very good student, but he helped me through it all.. So sorry for your loss…wish I could have seen him again after he left here..God bless to his family…prayers for healing ??
