We are so sorry to hear of Edith's passing. I have many fond memories of times on the farm. And she was a good friend to Mom through the years.

My sincere sympathies to Edith's family. I had the privilege of getting to know Edith when she lived at Golden Estates. She became friends with everyone right after moving in and she loved to visit. Cherish all of your memories.

Doug, (Sandy), Laurie, Lynne and Don and families:
My condolences on the loss of your mom. I have lots of memories of your parents and of course of Edith's "kids". Those were the days. It's difficult to lose our parents, no matter their age....the loss of a generation. Hugs, prayers and lots of love. Ruthie

To Edith's family:
I have known Edith & Gene for many years. Edith at Homemakers, square dancing & other activities. She was a classy , beautiful, very nice lady. I was elated when she came to Golden Estates. She was always ready to play & was always ready to learn new games. She & I played many hours of Skip-Bo,(her favorite game) I was so sorry to hear of her death. She has been missed here since she moved to Minot. The family took very excellent care of her & she told me many times how she appreciated her family. May God give each & everyone of you peace & comfort. Rest in Peace, my friend

Lynne and family: I am so sorry to hear of Edith’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you grieve her loss. I have seen Edith and Laurie out for lunch fairly recently. Usually at Dakota Farms. She always had a smile for my Mom and me. And I remember the Avon Lady very fondly.

My heartfelt sympathy to your family. I have so many memories of spending time at your house on sleepovers, listening to Ring of Fire on the hifi, sitting on the heater grate in the living room to warm up after being outside playing in the snow and too many memories to put here. I am out of town and won't make it to the service, but wanted you all to know I'm thinking of you and am sending prayers of comfort for you in your time of grief.

My sympathy to all of Edith's family on her passing. I remember most her gracious tolerance of the chaos at our house when she came on her Avon rounds. I didn't realize she was one of 14--perhaps that was a source of her equanimity. My mother would always try to buy something whem Edith came around, stating, "I'd never want her to stop coming!"
She made the world a better place.
