To Vernon's family, sad to hear of Vernons passing, we will miss his visits to our nursery to visit and laugh. He was a very friendly person and will be missed by many. RIP Vernon!

Oh Jan, we were so shocked to hear of Vernon's passing. I had the honor of being Commander of the American Legion and knowing how both of you still served your country and community through various funerals, fund raisers and always being there to help our youth. Slade was in school with our daughter, we watched our children grow, and we feel your loss with you. Steve worked with Vernon for awhile, saying he was a hard worker and kind man. Jan, you have always been there when someone needed help. Know that you touched us all, and we did not forget your kindnesses. He will be so missed, and now it is our turn to be here for you. God be with you, your children and grandchildren during this time. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE VERNON. May you rest in the arms of Jesus now.

Eight miles north of Temple will never be the same. My cousin Vernon Herfindahl was a one of a kind type guy a man of many talents a Rancher cattle man Farmer ,Mechanic ,Hay producer and we all nknow a Family man RIP Cousin Vernon Herfindahl you have earned good rest. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I’m sure Vernon is is smiling his beautiful smile as bright as ever right now in the arms of Jesus.
