Prayers to Alan’s family & friends. Alan & I graduated in 1974 from Alamo High School. We were together all 12 years in school. I had seen Alan many times at the cancer center. No more pain. Lots of good memories to share of a special classmate.

Glad we were able to have some good talks before you left us. You are in a much better place now. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. 1Cor. 2 : 9

I'm saddened by Alan's passing after I read his obituary.
Alan and I were classmates @ UND-Williston in the Fall of 1975. We also crossed paths somewhere when we both played sports between Alamo and Grenora, even 4-H Club and UMV Fair.
We were enrolled in the Auto-Mechanics program and became friends.
Both of us owned and drove Chevrolet Chevelles, his was a '65 and mine was a '68.
The men that taught the classes were Gary Anderson, Bill Schnock and Leon Maki, the tool crib was managed by Max King.
Best times of our lives were there @ UND_W learning how to work on cars/trucks and having a "good time" in Williston. He was a good friend to have and I wish we'd have gotten together after school was over.
I know you're in a better place now, BTW I still have a notebook from school where I took down a description of your '65 Chevelle when you wanted to sell it back then....see you on the other side like Ozzy O. says....Mike
