Although friends from afar, contact via phone became the norm. Through those cherished conversations a friendship was formed and our families gradually learned of one another. I came to know John in 2019 and although I have only had a short time I was lucky enough to have actually met John, Jodie and Gracie here in Florida for dinner during one of their visits. A wonderful time with wonderful people. I do now and will forever miss my friends. Our hearts go out to Gracie and family.
