Lois was like a second mother to me growing up. I spent a lot of time there over the years. Especially during the summer breaks. She always treated me like one of the family. Which meant helping with chores or going with the family out west on vacation. :)
I remember knocking on the back door and she would always tell me I didn't need to knock.
She was always a lot of fun with a great sense of humor. She really was the 'cool mom' of our friends group.

And even though it felt like we lost her a few years ago, it still really hurts to hear that she passed. She was loved.

I am so sad to learn of Lois' passing. She was always so much fun to be around. Hardworking. A problem solver. Always a "glass half full" kind of person when we worked on things together. She will be sorely missed.
