David's Son Brad, I knew David well as a young man. He was a bright, witty, well groomed, and loving young man. He was a welcomed guest in my home numerous times and my family always looked forward to seeing him. I am saddened his journey in later life has been so challenging for him, however I am thankful for the fond memories I have of David. My sympathy to you. Norma

I worked with David at Family Thrift Center. You always knew when he was in your presence. He was uplifting and had a fun personality like no other. My sympathy to the family, knowing that he is not a peace. Cherish the memories.

I ran into Dave at a car dealership in Gilbert, AZ. I was shopping for a car and visiting with a salesman. The salesman left the table where I was sitting and Dave walked over and said, “You are from Williston”. I said that I was and he preceded to tell me my name, where I worked in Williston and that my mother-in-law had just passed away. I was a little freaked out until he told me who he was. He made a difference that day and I felt confident buying a car at that dealership because he worked there and I trusted him. Rest In Peace, Dave. My sympathy to his family. He was a great guy.

David was a wonderful cousin; I just loved it when he stopped by mom & dads to visit. He always had a story (or several) to share and make us laugh! So sorry to miss the funeral, we are with you in spirit; sending you love and prayers as you grieve his loss. The video tribute is beautiful.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave at the post office and every thought of that brings a smile to my face - he made it fun to come to work - always up to some shenanigans to make everyone laugh. He had an uncanny ability to remember where everyone lived, so hard to believe that he struggled with memory issues in the last years of his life - maybe he had just too much stored in that memory bank of his! Rest in God's Peace, Dave - you are remembered fondly by so many!

David was the best friend anyone could ever hope for and it was my honor to take care of him all of these years although I believe he actually took better care of me knowing one day he would be gone. I am still learning from him every day and how to treat people right and be a better person. So hard to let go but he must be free to watch over everyone that he loved. Miss him so much. Rest in peace my friend.
