I met Kenny & Evelyn in recent years at Tioga Independent Living where my Mom, Aurita Weyrauch, resides. I was always so touched by their dedication to each other. They were such a sweet couple and I enjoyed visiting with them. My heart goes out to you and your family for the loss of both Kenny & Evelyn. May the Lord watch over you as you navigate this difficult time.

My heart aches for Uncle Kenny’s family and friends. I’ll always remember the kindness both Uncle Kenny and Aunt Evelyn (Stenbak) showed my immediate family and grandparents when we visited them in North Dakota in 2019. Since Aunt Evelyn recently passed, I wanted to include that I was pen pals with her over the last three years, and i’m grateful for our communications.

Kenny was my brother-law for only seven years, but I am grateful for how happy he made my sister Evelyn Stenbak Axelson. They took care of each other during covid lockdowns when many residents were confined to their apartments alone. Evelyn had given up driving so going for a ride in Kenny’s truck was a real treat for her. Kenny always tried hard to convince my husband, Harry, to buy a new Ford truck. (Harry is a Chevy guy) We will miss them both a lot. Our prayers are with their families

Uncle Kenny was the uncle who made a loving and lasting impact on my life. He was always so happy and when we would visit his bear hugs and kiss on the cheek was so welcoming. So many memories at his ranch home with Evy including riding horses, playing cards late into the night and just sitting around laughing and joking.

I love you Uncle Kenny....always in my heart.
