Ben said this was the real “Dream Team!” : ) You go big 4-0!!
Ben and I went to grade school together in Mandaree, we did everything together as young boys, when our family moved to New Town we were always friends, then we became college basketball teammates at United Tribes Technical College, we even dated sisters! Ha Ha! If it weren’t for Ben I wouldn’t have met my beautiful wife of 27 years Edith Long-Finley. Thank you Ben for sharing your life with me for well over 50 years, our late night and every other day convos will be a lasting memory. The gift you gave me of unconditional friendship is something I’ll cherish, rest assured I’ll pay it forward. Go rest high Ben Young Bear! : (

Sending my condolences to the family, Big Ben had a huge impact on me while I was in high school from 96-00, he was always there to talk to when I needed someone, he also let me get away with a thing or 2 throughout the years lol, great security guard but a better friend R.I.P Bud

With our deepest sympathies to Kay & Ben’s family. Ben was the nicest, gentle, caring person we ever met. Ben became a Red Laker 32 years ago and was a huge asset to the Red Lake Nation & Red Lake School District. He will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him and everyone he worked with. Today, we all lose and mourn together. Your memories you made, your love for life, everything that made you, will forever live in our hearts and in the minds of everyone that knew you. Fly high, my friend and Rest In Paradise.
