I was heartbroken to hear of Jim's passing. There isn't enough room on the internet to list all the happy memories we have of Jim, Linda, Shari and Jay, after living next door to each other for 45 years. Rest in peace, Jim. You are loved and missed my so many.

Jim was publisher at the Herald when I started my work there in 1982. We had a lot of fun in those days. May memories bring you comfort and peace.

Sandy and I were saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. We spent a lot of time together throughout the years, and always had a good time. The hunting and fishing trips are special memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Linda and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He and my dad, LeRoy Larsen raced together years ago, and were good friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this most difficult time. God Bless.

To ALL of Jimmy’s family members, I want to send my condolences w/love n prayers.
I have a lot of good (old) memories of us cousins back in the days when my Dad,Mom, me n Diane use to come out there for several years in the fall for at least two months and we rented a house in WHEELOCK..My dad Ole y’all’s uncle, would haul grain n potatoes I believe to make extra money for us, I think some times my brother Roger would come along..My mom would put Rog n I in school in WHEELOCK while we were living there! On Saturday nights Uncle Johnny n my dad would sit at our kitchen table w/a little radio playing the BOXING FIGHTS on n have a few cold cold beers after a long hard week of work.. I’m not sure what us kids did LOL
I GUESS AUNT MARGARET N MY MOM just visited.
Y’all are in my heart, call/text if you’d like..
Love Always, Cousin Verna

Sorry to hear of Jim’s death, or Jimmy, as my brother, Leon would call him. There were lots of adventures those ‘boys’ had and I’m sure we all didn’t hear half of them.
Rest In Peace, Jim!

Bobby, Janice & Jim’s family,,
I’m so sorry to hear of Jimmy’s death. Man, we’re losing our Wheelock family, neighbors and friends right and left! He and my older brother’s had quite a few stories to tell, I understand. I enjoyed reading his obituary & catching up on his life which I had lost track of over the years. Now that I see his picture, I realize he was at my brother’s funeral this summer. I’m sorry I didn’t take the time to reintroduce myself. Prayers for comfort and peace for all of you at this difficult time.
