May she rest in peace. Always remember Irene coming into the grocery store when I worked there. Then always visited with her when she lived up at Hillside Court in WC. Always had time to visit.

I am so saddened for you, her family-but so happy for Irene! She longed for heaven and I know there was much rejoicing in heaven when she arrived. I considered her the closest thing to an angel here on earth and I have missed her smile and her famous line “I’m happy, content and thankful!” She was such a special woman and my life is so much richer because of knowing her. “ Well done thou good and faithful servant,” Welcome home Irene.
