The special mug

My deepest sympathies for the loss of Gary. As a little girl while he dated my sister, he made me a beautiful little birdhouse. I will never forget his kindness. As I grew older, we shared coffee at my parents home with special “Olympia Beer/Tumwater Washington” mugs my mother saved for Gary and my husband. When she passed away, each received one. We had good conversation around that table and no one used those mugs but Gary and Kevin.
His dedication to boy scouts was commendable as was his dedication to the Native American ways and the many Native American children he taught.
Rest In Peace, Gary, with no more pain.
I will always remember you.

I worked with Gary at Poplar Schools in Montana. He was an honorable man and cared about his students. I am sorry to hear of his passing and pray for comfort for his family and friends.

I knew Gary from second grade until now. He was a good friend and a very nice man. Sad to hear of his passing, but he is no longer in pain. God bless him and his family.

I’m am very saddened to hear of Gary’s passing. Gary was a very special person. I know he made me better person. I have so many great memories with Gary from Scouting. He was not only a scout leader but was my friend. Kari, Kris and family are in my prayers. RIP Gary
