Joyce and family. I am so sad to hear about Jim. He was my teaching partner for eleven of my twelve years in Watford City. He was such a great guy to work with. We had such a good time together. He was such a good husband, father, and grandfather. In fact one of the last times I talked to him, he was at the playpark with his grandkids. Rick really enjoyed golfing with him on their Thursdays.

I am so sorry that we are not able to attend his funeral. Please know that we are thinking of you.

Fondly, Rick and Nancy

Though many years have passed since we visited, the memories were always there. Memories that began when we shared a small apartment at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dixon while we were in college; Mrs. Dixon lost another of her "boys." Such a wonderful friend.

Jim was a good friend of ours and a teacher to both of us as well. Mr. Jerry enjoyed working with Jim at McKenzie Electric for several years. What a great guy and he will be sorely missed! “A loyal friend”, Jerry says! You are in our thoughts and prayers as you go forward.

Joyce, JeAnne, Jayme, Jason and all families of Jim, we always enjoyed our visits with Jim and Joyce. He was so easy to visit with. A very loyal drill team member. We had the best time with Jim and all the other VFW friends we had the pleasure of traveling with to Hawaii and Washington DC. Jim was a hoot. So much fun to be with. He will be missed. Our prayers and thoughts for you all. Dennis and Vonnie

Joyce and all of Jim's family,
We are saddened to hear of Jim's passing. Our prayers are that you find comfort and peace at this most difficult time. My favorite Bible verse that comforted me and hope that you may find comfort in it as well-John 3:16.

So many great memories of Uncle Jim. His laugh was amazing and he knew how trade jokes. He saw Kristin and me through some rough times too and you knew that you could always walk over and get a big hug. We are thinking of you all and wish that we could be with you. It's hard to write "the right thing" but please know that you are always in our hearts.
