Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Donald was always such a good friend and neighbor to my parents Erven and Helen Nielsen and was always fun to visit with. He will be missed!

God has taken Donald and Andy to be with Ruth. He knew that Ruth was lonely and that Andy would not be happy without his dad. There is nothing I can say to mitigate your grief in this terrible moment. I pray you can find comfort in your many happy memories. I always enjoyed visiting Donald during holidays, just planting flowers, walking through the pastures looking for antler sheds and looking at the spring flowers or just visiting. Donald was always a happy and welcoming person. We showed up unexpectedly and stayed with him while we were attending a trail ride in Lignite. He was happy to see us and even cooked us breakfast and dinner. Family was the most important thing to Donald and he loved spending time with his extensive bunch of children stepchildren and grandchildren
I will miss his happy go lucky attitude and smile
