I was shocked to find out Preston passed. I went with him in my later teen years. I always enjoyed hearing his laughter. His humor was something. Prayers to family members. Sad to know he won't be around anymore.

Being on the local rivers frequently myself, I tended to run into Preston now and then.
Condolences to the Noteboom family.

I kept company with Preston and his Airdale dog a few times back in the 1980s along the banks of the Yellowstone. He was a kindred spirit that left a lasting legacy, I will never forget him. RIP Preston, keep the campfire going.

There was a time in my life when I might have said Preston was my favorite uncle. Preston took me fishing a few times and I still remember that black stocked nylon Remington rifle. I have never seen anyone so obsessed with fishing in my life. Fishing was Preston's escape and his therapy. I hope they have big catfish and a few paddlefish in heaven. RIP Uncle.
