I'm so saddened to hear this news. Corrine was my piano teacher in 1978. We ran into each other a few times over the years and she even learned a waltz I'd written and played it with me about 10 years ago for my dad's birthday party. Corrine gave me some good advice, a word in due season once, that I really needed to hear. My life was better because she was in it.

Bruce was a kind, humorous man who always took the time to say "hi" and share a story down at the post office which just happened about two weeks ago. He was concerned for Corrine and his love shown thru for her in his actions. Corrine was a gifted musician to less than fortunate children with her music therapy. May their family be deeply comforted in knowing they were both honest, God loving and generous souls as they now look down upon us.

Bruce called every month to pay his water bill and we had great conversations, I will miss that so much. I am keeping your family in my prayers. My sympathy to you.

My cousin Corrine was my idol while growing up. Her musicianship inspired me to be a music teacher. Every summer our family had the privilege to come to Tioga for a month and be on the farm with cousins Corrine and Juris.
We experienced memorable times riding horses, taking care of horses, various farm activities with Corrine and neighboring farm kids. Evenings were filled with music in the "piano room", from violins, pianos, vocalists, guitars jamming together. What fantastic times. Corrine was our leader.
Watching her children grow up and seeing the love she had for her family was inspirational. Corrine and Bruce never missed a family wedding, Anniversary party, or funeral which meant so much to my family. Six years ago Corrine and I drove from Mesa to Camarillo CA to visit my mother who was in a nursing home. Her musical talents were again shared with my mom her aunt. We had 12 hours of conversation in the car mainly getting caught up on family. She loved her children and grandchildren and expressed her great love for her heritage and North Dakota. Great memories dear cousin and you will always be in my heart. Dorene Hiepler McDougall
