Dear Auntie Jordis, I am so sorry to hear of my dear Godfather’s passing...I will always remember him as such a gentle giant of a man. He was so kind and his eyes were always smiling! For some reason every time I think of him I am reminded of the time he picked me up from Richard school with Liz and Tim during a huge blizzard... I didn’t think we would make it home it was snowing so hard! My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to all my cousins over the loss of their dad- I can’t even imagine the pain...prayers for all and I wish I could be there on Thursday.

I'm sorry for your loss. I didn't really know Gene, because we met when I was quite small. His mother Anna was my dad's second cousin. I pray the good Lord will ease your heartache.
