Rose was such a sweet and kind lady. I spent many days of my childhood hanging out in her home on Dean Avenue with my best friend and Rose's son Doug. It was Rose that taught me his full name "Douglas John". I have such fond memories of those days and considered Rose a second mom to my own mother, also named Rose. My prayers and condolences go out to Susan, Sandy, Doug, Steve, and Matt and families. Heaven has gained another angel!!

Rose was one of the first city leaders to welcome us when we opened our little law firm in Tioga in 1997. She was beautiful, inside and out. And she so graciously took in the Williston Hornstein boys!
She lived a life of service. May God bless her family.

She was my neighbor when I first moved to Tioga and one of the kindest and sweetest people I've ever known. She always gave me a hug when I'd see her in town and tell me all the latest news about her grandchildren. They meant the world to Miss Rose! I'm going to miss her as I know her family will!! God Bless and Keep you all during this time.

My condolences to all of Rose's family. I have many lovely memories spending time with Sandra growing up. Your mom always took time to say hello to the girls when we were in your neighborhood. I always thought that was special...but it was probably her way of letting us know that she was watching us! She was a sweet lady, always making everyone feel special. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Cherish the memories as you celebrate her life.

When arrived we in Tioga back in 2010, Rose was one the first person that I met. Always so kind, endearing, pleasant and down to earth. I miss our daily conversations at Food Pride. She is truly an angel. God Speed Rose!

Rose was a very welcoming member of St. Thomas. When I began attending St. Thomas a number of years ago, Rose was the first person to say hello to me - took about two seconds. Always a friendly greeting and always a smile from Rose. She was certainly a shining example of "love your neighbor". I join the many who celebrate the life of this beautiful gal. May she rest in peace.
