Barb was a big sister friend of mine during our college days. I met her as I was in the nursing program with her, we took classes together. We had in common our LPN background, older than average student who needed each other to survive. She became the RN nurse, I changed major and went into teaching. Our lives met again when she worked in Fort Yates and she stayed by me to help deliver my son. She moved up north and I eventually moved up north and our friendship continued. I moved away and would call her once in awhile, as of lately the Lord put her on my heart, I called the last number I had and didn’t hear from her. Barb often shared her relationship with Jesus I learned from her. Now Barb is with our Heavenly Father, thank you Jesus for sharing Barb with me and my daughters.

I worked with Barb at the Indian Health Service in New Town and had such an admiration for her work and selfless love for others. She was great to talk to and although we haven’t kept in touch, it’s sad to know she’s gone. God bless all the special memories and blessings she has shared with her loved ones.

Barb's family...so sorry for your loss. Over the years my grandfather Leroy Perry told many stories of the Kennedy's and other ranching families of the Watford City area. My husband Tom and I drove out to visit with Barb and Jarrette about some of those stories quite awhile ago and enjoyed them so much. They were so gracious to us...

My sincere condolences to the family of Barbara. She was a very kind and compassionate nurse, friend to my father Dutch Fox. Barb was like a sister to my father. She always had a kind word for you and genuinely cared when she asked how you were doing. You could count on her smile and gentle caring manner everytime you encountered her. God Bless you Barb journey well !
