So sorry to hear of Joy's passing. I have many good memories growing up as a neighbor to Joy. Joy introduced me to Rice Krispie Bars. Our Luther League was having a Skating Party at the dam in their pasture. The bars were a hit and disappeared quickly. Joy saw that everyone loved them so she went home and made two more batches. They disappeared just as fast as the first ones. She was a wonderful lady.

I sat right in front of this wonderful lady at church , besides my mother in law I can’t think of anyone who was more caring and thoughtful to others as she was. She will be missed dearly , go rest high on the mountain Joy!

Aunt Joy was a beautiful person and she made me feel special. I am going to miss our visits. And yes, she had the best fried chicken, donuts and fattimand.

I met Joy and Norm in1951 and spent many evenings at their home laughing and visiting. Later years when I moved back to Williston I spent many afternoons playing whist with Joy. I will always remember her lovely smile. You will be missed Joy, rest in peace.

I don't know how I missed knowing that Joe was a pastor and in the area for awhile after I moved back!! I have fond memories of him and still have the original book plus songs that he used during our guitar lessons. I was in 8th grade and begged my parents to get me guitar lessons. I don't know how they found Joe, but he was my teacher and I still play! My great Aunt Ruth Ray spoke highly of Joy. Both were such Godly ladies! My heart goes out to your for losing so many loved ones so close together. Jesus will hold you close. With our sympathy, C'Dale & Phil
