Williston lost a great man in George Amsden. Carol, all of the family is in our prayers. Any time I came back to Williston to visit family, I seemed to always see George.....usually at the library, but also visiting with his friends over coffee at CashWise Deli. It was such a treat to talk to him each time. God bless you as you prepare to say goodbye to such a great man. His memories will live on...cherish them all.

As an athlete from a small school coming to Williston in the "60"s George was "Mr. Coyote". After working in the Williston Public Schools and having the privilege of playing softball with George is when I found what a "special and unique" person was.

Joan, Tim, Carol and families.
So sorry for your loss. Joan you may not remember me but you were always so kind when I was at your house when I was young. I have told the story many times that it was Brent or Brian in diapers that came up and put their elbows on the kitchen table while standing. I think you also made some lunches for me and Tim on our bike trips to the muddy to catch bullheads when we were kids. I hope you are doing OK. I know it is hard. Sincerely, Leon Helstad
