Michael McCollum, CFSP - Corporate President
Michael McCollum, CFSP - Corporate President Michael McCollum graduated from the University of Minnesota. Originally from northern Minnesota, Michael joined the firm in 1976 and raised his family here. He is a Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam. Michael has been involved with many organizations over the years including past president of the Sidney Chamber and a 20 year member of the Sidney Volunteer Fire Department. Michael is also past president of the Montana Funeral Directors Association.

Al McGahan, CFSP - Corporate Treasurer
Al McGahan, CFSP - Corporate Treasurer Al was born in Ohio and raised in Missouri. He graduated from high school in Brookfield, Missouri in 1976. Following graduation from high school, Al attended Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman University) where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Accounting and a minor in computers. After graduating from college Al attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in Cincinnati, Ohio graduating with his degree in 1982. In October of 1982, Al moved to Billings, Montana where he did his apprenticeship at Dahl Funeral Chapels. In May of 1984, he accepted a position with the Fulkerson Funeral Home in Sidney.

Al is the father of three adult children, Lisa, Josh, and Keely. He is a member of the St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 4th degree Knights of Columbus, Sidney Volunteer Fire Department, Elks Lodge, and the Moose Lodge. He is a past president and current member of the Sidney Lions Club and the Montana Funeral Directors Association. Currently, Al is Montana’s Representative on the National Funeral Directors Association Policy Board.

He enjoys riding his Harley Davidson, driving his Brother’s Jeep, golfing, and just hanging out with friends.

Karen Sivertson - Sidney Office Manager
Sidney’s Office Manager, Karen Sivertson, is our newest addition. She began working for us January 2, 2007. Karen was born and raised in Williston, ND. She graduated from Williston High School in 1986 and attended UND Williston. She remained in Williston until 1993 when she and her husband, Terry Sivertson moved to Sidney, MT. Terry and Karen have three children Taya, Taryn, and Tegan.They enjoy camping and fishing at Van Hook each summer. They spend every available minute at the lake. Karen and her husband are very involved in their children’s activities. Prior to her employment with Fulkersons Karen worked at the Lonsdale United Methodist Church as the church secretary. She has been active in Richland Youth Hockey, Sidney Woman of Today, The Sidney Jaycees, Sidney Gymnastics, and the Lonsdale United Methodist Church.

North Dakota
DENNIS GENDREAU, CFSP - Corporate Vice-President
DENNIS GENDREAU, CFSP - Corporate Vice-President Dennis Gendreau is a native of Langdon, North Dakota and is graduate/athlete of Dickinson State University, Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He earned an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science from Mt. Hood Community College at Gresham, Oregon in 1981. He started with the firm in the summer of 1981 and became a stockholder in the firm in 1983. He is married to his wife, Jeannie and they have raised three sons; Steven (Katie), Mathew, and Andrew (Wendy) and they currently have four grandchildren. Dennis is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, K of C, Past President of the North Dakota Funeral Directors, Life Member of the Academy of Funeral Service Practitioners, Past President of Williston Rotary Club, Advanced Silver Toastmaster, and has earned Honorary Status with Oxford’s Who’s Who.

Rick Clemes, CFSP - Corporate Secretary
Rick Clemes, CFSP - Corporate Secretary Rick Clemes is a Culbertson, Montana native. He has been involved in funeral service in Montana and North Dakota for over 31 years, 25 of those years serving the Williston area. Rick attended MSU Bozeman before transferring to San Francisco College of Mortuary Science. He is past president of the North Dakota Funeral Directors. He is involved with Lions, Williston Moose Lodge #239, Williston Masonic Lodge, Dickinson York Rite and Kem Temple of the Shrine. Rick is a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Williston where he currently is serving on the church council.

Seth Coughlin, CFSP
Seth Coughlin, CFSP Seth Coughlin was born and raised in Williston, ND. He graduated from Williston High School in 1994. While still in high school, Seth joined the U.S. Army Reserve, he served in the Reserves for a total of eleven years, both as an enlisted combat medic, and as a commissioned medical logistics officer, he was honorably discharged form the Army in May of 2004.

Seth attended college in Grand Forks, ND, for three years before transferring to the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1999. He graduated with the CCMS Spring Class of 2000, with both an Associates Degree and a Bachelors Degree in Mortuary Science, he than returned to Williston to serve his North Dakota apprenticeship. Shortly after completing his apprenticeship he was hired by the Fulkerson Funeral Home in Williston. Seth is active in all aspects of funeral service including, funeral directing, embalming, pre need, and monument sales. He licensed in North Dakota and Montana. In October of 2004 Seth earned the Certified Funeral Service Practitioner designation from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice.

Since returning to Williston, Seth has been very active in the community; he is currently the Vice President of the Williston Boys’ Baseball Committee, and a Trustee as well as a Past Exalted Ruler of the local Elks Lodge. He is also a member of the Williston First Lutheran Church, the Williston Moose Lodge and the American Legion.

Seth and his wife Heidi, have one daughter, Reagan.

Brenda Collins - North Dakota Office Manager
Brenda Collins - North Dakota Office Manager Brenda Collins began with our firm in 2005. Brenda is a Tioga native, and graduated from Tioga High School in 1992. She attended college at Devils Lake, finishing her schooling in Jacksonville, Florida with an Associates Degree as a Legal Assistant. Brenda lives in Williston with her husband and son. She is a member of First Lutheran Church in Williston.
