Our dear friend,

I just wanted you to know that I appreciated your friendship...and celebrating our birthday together - on the same day!

I am so very grateful that we shared a few years of friendship and you will remain in my heart always. Thank you again for looking after my home when I visited NY for my nephew's wedding. My son Kevin has expressed his feelings also that he will miss a great friend!

We will miss you, Lloyd! I know that someday we will all be together again.

I send my deepest sympathy to your family and I know there will be moments of gratitude for comfort in the memories we all have of you!

God Bye, Lloyd

Your Las Vegas "family" Arlene, Kevin, Dan. We all love you!!!

To the Family of Lloyd

We are so sorry to hear about your loss of your loved one. It's never easy to lose someone who is so dear to all of you.

Lloyd was my cousin who I haven't seen since we were children but it sounds like he had a wonderful life and family. I appreciate all the news that his sister-in-law gave me.

Our Deepest Sympathy to each and everyone of you.

Lloyd - I will miss your emails & phone calls. I know Rick is waiting to welcome you into Heaven with open arms. Please tell him I miss him greatly & give him a hug for me. You were a great Dad & Grandpa. Rick thought very highly of you & Jayme & Justin, Grandpa thought very highly of both of you. Kristy, he loved you dearly. I don't know the rest of the family very well, but I know Lloyd's Family were all very important to him. He never quite got over Rick's death & now they can be reunited again & talk about cars & such. Tell Rick, I still don't like Jeff Gordon. Oh & by the way, in case you hadn't noticed the VIKINGS kicked the Packers butts this year. GO VIKINGS!!!! We will miss you greatly. Thoughts & Prayers to all of you.

I would like to take the time to write "just the right thing" for Lloyd. But I can't find "the right thing." To his family and friends, I am so very sorry.
My husband, Jim, and I will miss Lloyd and his yearly (or more often) visits. I value our 50 year friendship very much. He was a good friend and a good person.

It was a great, great day when I met Lloyd for the first day last year when he visited The Villages, Florida. He proved to be a kind and humorous fellow and I looked forward to seeing him again this Winter. Very disappointed that Lloyd will not be returning to us to bring more laughter. I guess we'll have to wait until we meet again in the future. Lloyd, you will never be forgotten by those who were honored to know you.
11/12/2009 Rhonda and Ed (The Villages, Fl)
Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Lloyd will be dearly missed.
11/12/2009 Bob Steinecke (The Villages, Florida)
For me meeting Lloyd was a good day. He became one of us really fast and we really enjoyed his company. Simply, he was a great guy with a sense of humor to match. He will be missed.
11/12/2009 charlene sasto (the villages, fL)
I was fortunate to meet Lloyd last winter here in The Villages. I loved to watch he and Dianne dance together - they really were a beautiful couple on the dance floor. My funniest memory is Lloyd calling me the "talkative New Yorker" after I tried to engage him in conversation since he looked lost while Dianne was away. His sense of humor was wonderful.....
11/12/2009 Lea McFadden (Vancouver, WA)
May you rest in peace.
11/12/2009 Phyllis & Peter Karangis (The Villages, Florida)
We so enjoyed the time we spent with Lloyd. He will be missed. Rest in peace friend!
11/12/2009 Doug and Lyn Anderson (Canada)
We had the pleasure of meeting Lloyd for the first time last year at the Villages. We enjoyed all the time we spent with him and the conversations that we had. He had a great sense of humour and a love for life and many unique perpectives on various topics. The Villages will not be the same without him. The only time that he left the "squares" early was when he absolutely had to be home to watch his favourite television show. He did love "happy hour" as well. Our lives have been enriched just having the opportunity to meet Lloyd.
11/12/2009 Linda & Stephen Pearl (The Villages, FL)
Rest in peace Lloyd. We didn't know you for a long time, but our time with you felt special. You and I had a conversation at a party and I remember thinking "what a sweet man". Our friend and your love Diane will miss you terribly. Our sincerest condolences to the many family members and friends.
11/12/2009 Kathie Ingenito (The Villages, Florida)
RIP Lloyd, I had such a great time with you last year and we'll miss you this year in TV. God Bless you.... Kathie

Everyone who had the opportunity to meet Lloyd here in The Villages has
a special memory. I remember what a fun-loving guy he was. At his surprise birthday..., He was as happy as a child with the balloons, hats, and gifts. What a fun time everyone had. He was overwhelmed with our showing of love for our new friend. He will be sadly missed!
11/12/2009 Christine (Jerseygirl) Creveling (The Villages, FL)
Lloyd will missed immensely, especially by Dianne and her friends here in The Villages. I met him back in February and quickly caught on to his snappy sense of humor. May you rest in peace Lloyd and God Bless Dianne and all of Lloyd's friends and family.

I cannot express the tremendous pain I have in my heart-I did not realize how much I learned from you. I will miss all of our visits, both serious and silly. For you I will continue to "salute the irish" and I will carry my green canvas bag with pride.......you understand! I love you and will miss you dearly!
11/12/2009 Jayme Bitterman (Tioga, ND)
Grandpa...where to start. I miss you terribly,we all do. Madi keeps telling me she got her zebra from Papa...I love you soo much but I know you are with some of the people that meant to the world of you. Tell Dad and Grandma hi for me. Give them tons of hugs & kisses let them know much they are still missed down here. Someday we will meet again. But until then I have the best guardian angels.

Who is going to be there to make all the repairs on the vechiles I let my teenager drive?

I find comfort in knowing that you LIVED a great life. You LOVED alot of people and alot of people LOVED you. You ARE in a better place and you ARE with others you love but you WILL be dearly missed. Until we meet again, we love and miss you Kristy, Don, Dalton and Dantae.

I met Lloyd last Janurary in Flordia. Was nice to meet a former North Dakotan so far from home. Lloyd welcomed me and was so easy to be with - a man of humor,a man of honor, and a man composed of loyality. Lloyd you will be missed.
11/14/2009 Addie Kubicke (Westbloomfield, Michigan)
For those of you who knew Lloyd well, you already know what a kind, considerate, caring man he was. I ask you what man would take his girlfriends best friend to the biggest motorcycle rally in the country - Lloyd of course. He knew I wanted to go so he told his biker buddies two women would be joining the.He changed his plans for camping and fixed up his camper just to take me. Whenever he came to visit me he would ask for my "honey do" list- he did it with a smile and by golly completed so much in a few days- he amazed me with his ability to fix anything. (What a man) Dianne his longtime girlfried gave him a surprise 63rd birthday party - he was overwelmed and surprised - he had not had a party since he was 13. Lloyd and Dianne had planned on seeing Paris this spring. Lloyd loved his country, poltics,Lloyd received a Christmas card from President Bush - but sent it to my grandson ( Keaton) because he knew Keaton loved the President. ( Keaton thought the card came from the President) who else would have thought to do that - Lloyd that's who.
He was a man that died much too young - he loved his family and honored his word. I could tell you so many wonderful endearing stories of Lloyd. Please keep Lloyd and Dianne in your prayers.
11/17/2009 Dianne Lievens (The Villages, FL)
My darling Lloyd, it is good to know how well you were loved by so many. I wish I could thank each person who wrote here for the comfort of knowing they loved you. I cannot express the void you leave in my life and heart..."The Lloyd Void" you would smile at that...I have found your pennies and seen the sparkles you painted on my face and on Addie's nose for confirmation. I know you were there to help me when my battery was dead in Orlando when I arrived home. I will pray for you every day for the rest of my life and I hope you can feel all the love from all of us. The Dance was heavenly, my love.....

Lloyd
are and always will be very dear to my heart. After my Father passed you took us in without missing a beat, as if you were a second father to us. I enjoyed all the time we had together and will always miss those times. I miss you as much as I miss my own father(your brother). I love the both of you very much. I learned a few things over time and learned one great thing " Family is the most important thing in life". I know you are in good hands with God our savior.
I am going to Sturgis this year not only for me, but primarily in rememberance of you.......
