I will miss you so much Hazel. You were the best Grandma to me. I will miss your sweet smile and that beautiful twinkle in your eyes. I am happy that you are with Martin now and at peace. The best thing you ever gave me was your daughter Helen, my mother in law, she is the best. Hugs and kisses to you Helen, Connie, Kenny, Shirley, and Harold. Love to all of the family and I am sorry that I can't attend the memorial service.

I was so blessed and honored to have Grandma Hazel in my life. What a role model she was for all of us. I now celebrate that she is dancing in Heaven with the angels. God is good, I thank him for all the years we got with her. God is good. Celebrate her life, for it was good.

Shirley and the rest of family,
We were saddened by your Mother's passing.
She lived a long good life. I feel so fortunate to have visited with her a couple of times when we were in Sidney the last few years. I treasure the memories.
She was a great lady (I loved her smile) and she was so proud of all of you. She would bring out pictures of each and I loved seeing them. Please know that we are thinking of you. Keep the memories of a wonderful lady. Our deepest sympathy. Darlene (Fixen) Benth

Wersland Family,

Sorry to hear about the death of your mother. Didn't know her very well, but I do remember she was a wonderful person. Helen, how are you doing? I think about you often. Sure hope you are having better suppers these days than what we had when we were roommates(boiled potatoes & weiners). Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your days of sorrow.

Dear family in the US!

We were so sorry to hear about aunt Hazel passing away. We are so glad that we got to see her in 2007 when we visited her in Sidney, still going strong! Her kind and gentle personality touched us all, and we like to think of her as our granny as well. Now she'll see her beloved Martin again and rest in peace!

You are all in our prayers and thoughts!

Dear Connie, Harley, & Family,
We were so sorry to read about the loss of your mother. We had never met her, but we know she must have been a beautiful lady. She was born the same year as my Mom. Thanks, Connie, for your annual Christmas greetings; we always look forward to hearing from you. We hope God's healing grace and wonderful memories will help to ease your burden in this difficult time.

Connie, Kenny, and rest of family.

So sorry to hear of Hazel's passing. I remember going to visit her (and Martin) out at the farm with my Grandma Pearl and Mom, Brenda, and then visiting her in her apartment after she moved into town. I always had fun listening to her talks about everything. I still have one of the pound puppies she had made for me! I always treasured it and will continue to do so as it always brought back great memories of her!

You all are in my thoughts and prayers. My Mom, Brenda, also sends her condolences.
