Jimmie Livengood,68 of Bremerton, WA, passed away tragically in an automobile accident north of Keene, ND, Saturday evening, December 8, 2018.

Jimmie Dale was born in Yakima, Washington on July 5, 1950 to Victor and Genevieve (Petty) Livengood. He was a twin brother to Joseph Dale who was Called Home early to His Heavenly Father at birth. He attended school at Bremerton High School where he met his love and future wife Elizabeth Conklin. They would be married June 1, 1971 at Union Gap in Yakima, Washington.

In 1976, Jimmie was baptized into the Mormon faith in Bremerton, Washington at the Latter Day Saints Church; 2nd Ward. He was very strong in his faith and religious beliefs and that would carry with him through his entire life.

Together, Jimmie and Elizabeth raised three beautiful daughters, Wanda, Tina and Judy. During their marriage Jimmie worked as a Professional Blackjack dealer, construction worker and at a Blackseal Coating Company with his brother-in-law. This would move the family to North Dakota, Washington and Oregon.

Family was everything to Jimmie; he was a devoted son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather. He was known as the “teddy-bear” of the family. Jimmie enjoyed spending his time with family, particularly taking his family fishing, only to spend most of his fishing time baiting hooks and removing fish from other poles.

Jimmie was kind hearted and generous, never hesitating to help anyone in need. His jokester personality and loving ways will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

At the time of Jimmie’s passing he was attending the church of Latter Day Saints; Ward 3 in Williston, North Dakota.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; his daughter, Tina; his father and mother; his twin brother, Joseph Dale; his brothers, Victor, Alfred, Eugene and his sister, Judy Bowen.
