Lillian Larson, 82, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at the Trinity Medical Center in Minot, ND. Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home of Tioga has been entrusted with arrangements and services.


Lillian was born on May 3, 1936 to Frank and Evelyn Lucas in Ray, ND. She grew up there, and graduated from Ray High School in 1954.

Lillian married Donald Larson in 1956 and they had four children. After moving around for a few years they finally settled in Ray in 1966, where Lillian lived the rest of her life. Besides raising her family, Lillian worked as a cook at restaurants in Ray and Tioga. Lillian was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

An avid Twins fan, Lillian could be found glued to the TV whenever they were playing. She enjoyed traveling, playing Bingo, occasionally visiting casinos and watching TV late into the night. Some of her favorite shows were Wheel of Fortune, Golden Girls, Bonanza and Walker, Texas Ranger. She also enjoyed her morning cappuccinos. Most important to her was her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lillian is survived by her sons Donald (Tamera) of Minot and Ronald of Ray, her daughter Lynnette (Gary) Fifer of Sidney, MT, 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Lillian in death were her parents, parents-in-law, husband, daughter Donnette Pretzer, brothers, Frank and Delano, sisters Donna Johnson and Leonella,Shoelkolph, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and several nephews.

Your Mom was a good friend, we worked together at the Parkway, she was a cook and I waited tables, we always made our work fun, I have many fond memories of her, I hold you all in my heart and in my prayers at this sad time. Treasure your memories and good times with her. I can only imagine the reunion in heaven that she has had with your dad and sister Donnette. love, hugs and prayers coming your way from me.

Donnie, Lynette, Ronald. My thoughts and prayers to you and your families. I have many fond memories of your mom from working at the Parkway Cafe with her and playing bingo with her. May God wrap his heavenly arms around you and comfort you during this sorrowful time. Many prayers for all of you.

My deepest sympathies to each of you...What a year you have been through...God be with each of you...Lil was an awesome lady and friend , and have many memories of working with her and having many cups of coffee and visiting with her...and how she loved her family.. cherish those memories you all have of her...Always remember when someone you love becomes a memory those memories become treasures...and those treasures nobody can take away from you ever and hopefully soon you will be able to smile when you think about those memories...Again God be with each of you
