Place of Birth: Watford City, ND
Residence: Dickinson, ND
Age: 72

Myron Brown, 72, of Dickinson, ND, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck. Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home of Watford City is assisting the family.

Myron William Brown was born February 2, 1946 to George and Clara (Sivertson) Brown in Watford City, ND . He lived on the family farm and attended Sandstone School.
Myron married Rogene (Jeannie) Uran at New Town, ND on September 16, 1966. To this union 3 children were born. They lived at New Town, Williston, and Killdeer, ND; Denver, CO; Sidney, Culbertson, Glendive, and Plentywood, MT; before they made their home in Dickinson, ND.
Myron was a hardworking man as he worked for KBM, RA Prathers and A&L Workover Rigs, drilling rigs, a cardboard factory making boxes, drove semi, owned M&R Trucking and after he retired he went to work for Northwest Tire.
He enjoyed riding saddle broncs, woodworking, traveling and camping in the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming, yardwork and gardening. He loved being around children, and they seemed to enjoy spending time with him in return. He accepted people as they were and spent many hours keeping track of his family and friends. He was a man of courage, integrity, and honor. Myron never had any fear, as his injuries he incurred showed how he loved life and lived it to the fullest. He filled his niche and accomplished his tasks, a man who left the world better than he found it, never lacked the appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it, and always gave the best he had. His greatest pridewere his grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Jeannie, we are so sorry to hear of Myron's passing. Time gets by us all too quickly anymore and as I sit now and try and remember the last time I saw him driving his El Camino, I realize just how long ago that was. Gosh it's been 30+ years since we became street neighbors down in Southview Trailer Court! Sending heartfelt condolences to you, Sheila and the rest of the family.
