Michael Allen Merry (Mike), 29, of Kalkaska, MI, most recently of Stanley, ND passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, June 1, 2018. He was born July 31st, 1988 in Traverse City, MI to James F Merry and Susan Allen-Monhead.

Michael graduated in 2006 from Kalkaska High School in Kalkaska, MI. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Mike also enjoyed family get-togethers and having a cold beer with his family and friends. Mike was employed by North American Trailer of Stanley, ND. On May 18, 2013, Mike married the love of his life, Stephanie “Steph” Emmert.

Mike is preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Merry; grandfathers, Alvin Oudman and William Allen; brother, James F Merry III and by his uncle, Kenny Allen.

Left behind to treasure his memory is his wife, Stephanie M Merry; father, James F Merry; his mother and step-father, Sue Monhead and Roger Monhead; children, Jalen Raymond (Raychel Martini), Maria Vasquez, Thalya Vasquez; grandparents, Max Merry, Judy Oudman and Nancy Allen all of Michigan; sisters, Kayleen Isch (Merry, Crystal Campbell (Tirrell Campbell Sr.) of Moncks Corner, SC; several nieces and nephews; two great nieces; several aunts and uncles and mother-in-law, Barb Raymond of Stanley, ND; sister-in-law, Mandy Swikoski and husband Tony, Kami Raymond, Shannon Morrison and brother-in-law, Larry Kendall Broheem; online sisters, Kayleen Isch (Merry) of Michigan, Crystal Campbell (Tirrell Campbell Sr.) of South Carolina and by his fur babies, his two dogs, Ruger and Tank.
