We're saddened to hear of the loss of Bob. I worked with Bob way back when I was a sophomore in high school at the Plains Reporter. After that, he did many print jobs for us at BJ's.
Always enjoyed our brief visits. May the Shalom Peace of Yahweh God fill your hurting hearts as you journey through this grieving period. Selah

I was fortunate to visit with Bob at Sanford in Fargo. He recalled how he sold his beloved Corvette in order to marry Eileen! Eileen and Bob were an awesome couple, and I know that Eileen will miss her best friend every day. May God give Eileen and her family so many good memories that they will be able to smile once again.

So sorry to learn of Bob's illness and passing. He was such a quiet, pleasant, thoughtful, and kind person. (As well as you, Eileen.) Bob did some printing jobs for me and was so conscientious that they were 'just right' every time. One of the most precious prints he did for me was to print a copy of an old charcoal drawing of my mom after she passed away. Every time I look at it I will remember him. God Bless you, Eileen and family, and may you be blessed with peace, strength, and love during this most difficult time.

Well I am without words on hearing this news. My only uncle to have shared the US Navy service with me. Very somber moment to come off a 6 month deployment and hear about this. I have so many memories flashing through my mind of talking about the Navy with him. Sometimes I felt he was the only one that understood what I was talking about and I always appreciated our talks. I tried to always make it a point to get him something from each command I have been attached to over the last 21 years. I know he was always happy that I was serving in the worlds best branch of service the US Navy! As I prepare to retire after 21 years of honorable service I do dedicate numerous reasons for it to Bob. I will miss him dearly and wish he could’ve been there 8/3/18 when I retire and see my ceremony. Sorry I can’t make it from where I am currently at to attend his ceremony of an amazing life. God bless Bob and everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him and his family!!!! Love you all and my prayers are with you.

Bob & Eileen were just awesome business partners, whom I enjoyed doing all my paper business with you for McBride Decorating! Not to mention, good neighbors, too. You raised awesome girls. Jan, you were such a great mentor/babysitter! I am so sorry for you all to lose Bob, at the same time we are relieved he no longer has to suffer. May Jesus hold you close and give you lasting memories! With our sincere sympathy, C'Dale & Phil (families of Karli & Schatzi, too!)
