Service Schedule

Visitation
Family and friends will meet at 3:00 PM, Monday, March 12, 2013 at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home in Watford City. We will leave for the wake at 4:00 PM.

Service
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Johnny Bird Veteran’s Memorial Center, rural New Town, ND. Fr. Roger Synek will officiate. Wake services will start at 5:00 PM, Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Johnny Bird Veteran’s Memorial Center.

Graveside Service
Burial will be in the Smith Family Cemetery, south of Mandaree.

To all Verna's family I am deeply saddened for your loss. Verna is a wonderful person. I have known her for many years when she worked at the school in Fort Yates. I will miss her dearly. May you find comfort in knowing she was loved by many here on Standing Rock. Have a beautiful journey my friend.

Verna was a good fren, was so sad 2 hear of her passing, I enjoyed visitn w/her, may she journey well, she's w/the angels now, 2 her children be strong....
