Judythe "Judy" Louise Hansen
August 24, 1945 - January 17, 2018

Place of Birth: Havre, Montana
Residence: Sidney, Montana
Age: 72

Judythe Louise (Krejci) Hansen was born on August 24, 1945 in Havre, MT to Ervin and Joan (Mayer) Krejci. At an early age, she along with her family moved to Sidney, where she grew up and attended Sidney Public Schools and graduated from Sidney High School in 1963. After graduation in September, she married Orlin Hansen and moved with him to Waterloo, Iowa. In 1964, she and Orlin returned back to Sidney to live and work on the family farm. Judy also worked at the Eastern Agriculture Research Center and as a ward clerk at the Community Memorial Hospital until 1983. In 1989, she started working as a secretary at ST. Matthews Church and retired in 1994.
Judy and Orlin had two sons and a daughter. She was a very loving and devoted mother, attended and supported all her children's activities. She loved helping in the community and was a trained Literacy Volunteer, a Hospice Volunteer, and Community Service Volunteer while in Jaycees from 1965-1982. She was a member of many clubs, Sidney Catholic Daughters, Women of the Moose, Sidney Red Hats, Sidney Singles, Sidney Jaycees, and served as President of the Montana Jaycees from 1977-78.
Judy had a very deep faith. She was delighted in the beauty of God's world and autumn was her favorite time of the year. She loved her flowers, especially her roses, pansies and carnations. She was a very good cook and enjoyed hosting family gatherings. Judy saw life as an adventure and was a very curious person. She enjoyed music, concerts, and cultural events. Judy also loved and collected Red Head figurines, clowns, hummingbirds and pink rose items. She would rather read a book then watch TV.
Judy passed away January 17, 2018.

Jeff, Lorel, Greg, and Family,
Words never seem adequate enough to express the loss of a loved one. Losing a "Mother," no matter what age you are, is always difficult to accept. Your Mom was a friend I shared many joyful times with down through the years. They were moments filled with laughter and seriousness stretching from our adolescent days to later years in life when we both wandered down a path of spiritual self-discovery. Your mom is part of the fabric woven with valued and fond memories that bind many of our classmates together to this day and will always be remembered. Our caring thoughts and prayers are with you all through your time of sorrow.
With you in spirit,
Paula Jensen and Family
