Loved Gene! His smile, laugh and love for life. He always had a hug for me anytime I saw him on our visits to North Dakota and here when he visited Minneapolis. Jon, I and the kids will miss him a great deal.

My deepest sympathy to Merrill's family. All of us have had to endure the pain of losing our loved ones in death. It is never easy to deal with. The Bible promises that soon God "will swallow up death forever and will wipe tears from all faces". (Isaiah 25:8). We have the hope of being reunited with our loves ones once again by means of a resurrection, what a joyful time that will be when we will once again be with our loved ones. (Acts 24:15) Until that time is fulfilled, keep close to your hearts all your wonderful memories of time spent together. May the "God of All Comfort" be with you in this time of sadness. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

So sorry to hear about Gene. We worked together at Gary Wendel Motors for a number of years. Gene was a delight to be around, at work, or at the bowling alley, Gene had an infectious personality, always positive, with an ever present smile. I'll remember my friend as an honest, hard working man that loved and adored his family and provided for them all his life. My condolences, Sharon, and kids
