Tina Lynn Meiers
December 12, 1974 - September 30, 2017

Residence: Stanley, North Dakota

Tina Lynn Meiers, 42, Stanley, ND, passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, September 30, 2017 in Desert Springs Hospital, Las Vegas, NV.
Tina was born on December 12, 1974 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada to Elmer Gallaugher and Anita Hawkes Ellvanger. She lived in Canada for 16 years and then moved with her mother to the United States in 1990. Tina graduated from Stanley High School in 1993. After her time at college she moved back to Stanley, that's when Matt and Tina’s friendship began. They were united in marriage on January 24, 2002. Tina worked at the Mountrail County Bethel Home, Brandt Brokerage House, 5 Spot Bar and was currently employed by Norman Mell and Associates and as a bookkeeper of the Prairie Rose Golf Course.
Tina’s most fulfilling and her full time job was that of being a stay at home mom for her two boys. On April 28, 1999 she began her full time career of becoming a mother to her first son, Kaydin. Her full time job duties then increased on November 25, 2003 when Matt and Tina’s second son, Keyton was born. This full time career is one that she was remarkable at and loved deeply. When the boys started school and started with their sports, her job duties increased yet again in becoming the VOICE in the stands and an assistant coach at times (although not formally recognized by other coaches). She was an extreme vocal supporter for the Stanley Blue Jays and for the Stanley Athletic Programs. Tina will be remembered for her long lasting impressions that she left everywhere and on everyone she met, her contagious laugh and her choice and distinct vocabulary of words. When she was not chasing after Matt or the boys, in her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her large group of friends and family, golf, horseback riding and being a second mom to many others children.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Gallaugher; grandparents, Albert Gallaugher, Fern (Gallaugher) Fisher, Horace and Olive Hawkes; a special cousin, Mack; Matt's grandfather, Wayne Meiers.

Tina’s loving family includes her husband, Matt, Stanley; sons, Kaydin and Keyton, Stanley; mother, Anita Hawkes Ellvanger, Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada; sister, BettyAnne Gallaugher, Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada ; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Lil Meiers; brother-in-law, Chris (LuWanna) Meiers; nephews, Dyllon and Chandler; niece, Lacey Meiers all of Stanley; Matt's grandmother, Lucille Meiers; step-brother, Boomer Ellvanger; numerous aunts, uncle and cousins.

Though I know that this is a difficult time for you, my hope is that you will be comforted from God's inspired word the Bible. John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21: 3,4 gives hope of a future resurrection and the complete elimination of death, pain and mourning. Under Jesus' kingdom rule we have this and much more to look forward to. Please accept my deepest condolences. For more scriptural encouragement please go to www.jw.org.
