Louise Asbeck
February 13, 1940 - August 22, 2017

Place of Birth: Sidney, Montana
Residence: Sidney, Montana
Age: 77

Beulah Louise (Weaver) Asbeck was born on February 13, 1940, in Sidney, MT, the daughter of Ward and Beulah (Cundiff) Weaver. She attended and graduated from Sidney High School in 1958. During her high school years she worked part-time at J.C. Penney’s. It was also during this time that Louise met the love of her life, Glen Asbeck.
On August 8, 1959 Louise married her high school sweetheart, Glen. Louise quickly dove into her role on the farm raising chickens, milking cows, and keeping the books for the farm. Her marriage was blessed with 4 children, whom she nurtured and loved unconditionally. During the early years of her marriage, she held part-time jobs at Richland National Bank (Stockman Bank) as well as at the offices for the Superintendent of Schools. Louise was a fantastic homemaker, wife, mother, and baker; she was famous for her breadsticks and caramel rolls. She loved being a grandma, and was very proud of her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to their various activities, and spending quality time with them.
Louise was strong in her faith, and was deeply involved with St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. She was a member of Catholic Daughers of America, where she once held a national position. She was also involved in various church ministries including Eucharist minister and grief ministries. In addition, she spent many years as a hospice volunteer. Louise loved helping others, and was always willing to give her time.
Louise and Glen spent many years wintering in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She continued going to Arizona after Glen’s passing, traveling on her own. They made many new, lifelong friends, and played and laughed a lot. While in Arizona, she enjoyed many arts and crafts, playing games, and lots of social activities. She was also an avid reader, and could often be found with a good book in her hands.
Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a generous, caring, and kind soul. She was loved by so many, and will be missed deeply.
Louise died on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at her home in Sidney, MT.
Left to carry on Louise’s legacy are her children, Mitch (Kathy) Asbeck, Billings, MT; Gene (Tanya) Asbeck, Sidney, MT; Kemp (Laurie) Asbeck, Elkhorn, WI; Nicole (Tim) Dvorak, Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren Jessica (Tyrel) Johnson, Monica, Melissa, and Katie Asbeck, Sam and Hayden Dvorak; great grandchildren Aurellia, Evie, and Dia Johnson; siblings Audrey (Don) Scheetz, Casper, WY; Walter Weaver, Minneapolis, MN; Gerry Entzel Almond (Jon Almond), Sidney, MT; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends who were touched by Louise’s love and kindness.
Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband Glen; brother, James Weaver; parents, Ward and Beulah Weaver; and in-laws Hugo Sr. and Nelda Asbeck.

Louise Asbeck Family,
I will miss Louise a great deal. I remember her from women's league golfing for many years along with Marge Thogerson. We both attended several classes at St Matthews. I will also miss Louise at Saturday night mass! She had a great personality. I know you are very happy now with Glen.

Louise and I became friends when we were young Mothers-trying very hard to pretend we how to raise children. We discovered that we had the same birthday and when my family moved from Sidney Louise and I kept in touch through birthday and Christmas cards. I grieve with you. I shall miss my friend as you will miss your Mother. It is tough to be an orphan no matter how old you are. Please know Louise's family is in my prayers and thoughts. I share in your sorrow. Blessings Gayle Gransbery

They are no words that I can say that express the knowledge of me knowing how you would feel in this difficult time. But the Bible gives us hope of the resurrection of the dead. In Revelation 21: 4 shows us that hope, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
