Tyler Anthony Giddens
June 22, 1992 - August 2, 2017

Place of Birth: Lancaster, CA
Residence: Williston, ND
Age: 25

Tyler Anthony Giddens, 25, of Williston, ND, passed away, Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at a Williston residence. Tyler was born on June 22, 1992, in Lancaster, California, to Thomas A. Giddens and Jeri L. Giddens. He grew up with his older sister Ashlie, and the family followed work until they put down roots in the Yucaipa area in Southern California. He and his family built a life and relationships with many people who they consider to be family to this day.
After high school and the marriage of Ashlie to Tibor Cser, he, his mom and his best friend David Churella of many years journeyed to the Bakken to be with his dad and start a career in the oil fields. Tyler and David started working for a parts house in town until they found an opportunity with Musket Corp. where they got their first taste of sweet Bakken crude. After a brutal winter and the arrival of Tibor and Ashlie he went to be a rig mover with Black Hills Trucking. There he wore many hats, but the hat he was most proud of was when he became a NCCO certified crane operator. He loved operating equipment and quickly became proficient in whatever they would put him in. He loved turning a wrench, fishing, and lending a helping hand to any friend who needed him.
He was a real red blooded patriot and a mountain of a man with a heart to match. He had a love for music that very rarely excluded any genre, and that left his family and close friends with vivid memories of his learning the guitar and drums. His fun loving attitude and booming laugh lit a room and set the tone for many occasions. Tyler is loved and missed dearly by his family and many close friends that he has made over the years.
Tyler is survived by his father and mother, Tom and Jeri Giddens, Williston; his brother and sister, Tibor and Ashlie Cser, Williston; his nephew and niece, Lukas and Olivia Cser, Williston and his numerous friends.

This world needs people like you, Tyler. You had a huge impact on the the people, who were blessed when they crossed your path of life. People like you are rare. That's why it's so painful. Many hearts are broken, including mine. One thing is for sure, I am so grateful to have known you. You are God sent. I'm am grateful for the deep, caring, kind words you have spoken to me. I will never forget you. I pray comfort surrounds your friends and family. May the angels wrap their arms around you. You are such a blessing to this world. I miss you, and I love you Tyler, my friend.

So, so sorry to hear about Tyler's passing at such a very young age. Wish we could have seen him more and will remember such a sweet young man. We feel so bad for the family and wish you strength and comfort in the days ahead. You'll always have good memories and he'll be in our hearts forever.

Dear Tom and Jeri and Family,
I am very saddened about Tyler. No words can describe what a great guy he was and such a great employee for Musket. I remember talking with Tom about getting him hired, and we did just that. Tyler was my employee, but he was also a friend. We talked about girls and music. I looked after him and helped him any way I could. Everyone at the site loved him. Again, I am very sad to hear about this. Very hard to accept. Rest in Peace Tyler..
