Wayne A. Cayko was born in Sidney on Aug. 8, 1968. He attended schools in Glendive until 1984, when the family moved to Billings.
His fondest memories as a young boy were spending weekends and summers on the family farms in Fairview. Wayne graduated from Billings West in 1986, being honored by the Who’s Who among high school students. Wayne received a BS in business from Central Washington University in 1999 and accepted a sales position with Microsoft.
Thereafter, Wayne worked in sales for several other businesses, mostly in the Seattle area. Wayne enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities, such as skiing and boating. Indoors, it was cards and board games for Wayne.
Wayne died June 14, 2017, in the early morning hours, of heart failure.
Wayne is survived by his mother, Barbara Harper and her husband, Bruce; father Kenneth Cayko and his wife Janet; brother Jim Cayko and his sons, Sean, Corey and Aiden; and brother Brad Cayko and wife, Tara, and their daughter Natalie; stepbrothers and stepsister Brian Harper, Ann Marie Gonzales, Stephen Harper and Dana Harper; Wayne’s grandfather, Eddie Buxbaum; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Wayne was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nick and Frances Cayko, and grandmother Frances Buxbaum.

I'm so sorry. I worked with Wayne at K-G Men's Store at the Rimrock Mall in Billings when I was in college in the mid to late 1980's. He was a great guy.
