Bonnie Louise Osborne
August 7, 1952 - May 23, 2017

Place of Birth: Sidney, Montana
Residence: Sidney, Montana
Age: 64

Bonnie L. Osborne, age 64, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at her home in Sidney, MT after her strong battle with cancer. Bonnie was born in Sidney, MT on August 7, 1952 to Arthur and Mary Ann (Pfau) Christensen. She was the 5th of seven children. Bonnie attended Crane Grade School and graduated from Sidney Senior High School in 1970.
That same year, she met Keith Osborne, and they were married that fall on November 21st. Three boys were born from this union: Keith II, Samuel, and Kyle. Keith and Bonnie moved to the Osborne family farm in 1976 where they raised their boys until 1999. She was like a second mother to her sons’ many friends as they came to the ranch to help and enjoy the country. She always had fresh baked goods ready for everyone to enjoy. In 2003, Bonnie went to work for the Sidney school district as a Title 1 Aide. It was there where she found her true passion to work with the children; receiving hugs from them was her biggest reward, and she continued to work at the school until 2016.
Of Bonnie’s many passions, taking care of little animals was her gift. Bonnie’s gentle and kind heart showed through her ability to work with them. From bottle feeding little farm animals to her adopted raccoons, she would spend endless hours caring for them. During the summer, her other passion was the ocean and lighthouses. She took many trips to the Oregon coast to do her favorite thing to be barefoot in the sand and stare into the endless ocean. Bonnie always enjoyed all of life’s little precious moments. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. To know her was to love her.
She is survived by: her husband, Keith; her sons, Keith II, Samuel (Susan), Kyle (Gena); granddaughter, Sierra; her brothers and sisters, Diana Westover, Fredrick Christensen, Wesley Christensen, Mary Ellen Smith, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Arthur and Mary Ann, her brother, William (Bill) Christensen, and sister, Kathleen (Kathy) Boyce.
