Deborah “Debbie” Poole, 56 of Ray, ND, formerly of Williston, ND, died Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Debbie died as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Ray on February 6, 2017.

Debbie was born on May 30, 1960 in Casper, WY. She lived in Williston and the surrounding areas and graduated from Ray High School. She was crowned Snow Queen in 1978. She married Randy Poole, the love of her life, in her early 20’s. She had 3 beautiful children by the time she was 26. In 1988, she moved her family to Gillette, WY and she and Randy welcomed their fourth and last child there in 1992. The family relocated to Williston in 1999 where Debbie remained until the time of her death.

Debbie was a very loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She was quite a jokester and loved to give her family grief! She loved garage sailing and enjoyed her can of Coca-Cola.

Debbie is survived by her four daughters, Kamala Draper, 38, of Williston, ND; Kassandra Poole, 33, of Spirit Lake, IA; Kandace Poole, 30, of Williston, ND; Karrissa Poole, 25, of Ray, ND; 9 grandchildren, Emilio Villagrana, 18, Elianna Villagrana, 15, and Roberto Villagrana, 14, (Kammy’s children) all of Las Vegas, NV; Janae Poole, 14, of Fargo ND; Jersey Vanderberg, 3, and Jaymason Vanderberg, 1, of Spirit Lake, IA (Kassandra’s children); Brooklyn Poole, 6, and Dominic Poole, 3, both of Tioga, ND and Riley, 5, of Bismarck, ND (Kandace’s children).

Debbie was preceded by her mother, Mary Draper Peterson and Randy Poole, the father of her children and her one time husband of 20 years.

I was so sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. I remember her from school in Ray and ran into her once in a while around Williston. She always had a smile to greet you and a few minutes to visit. You should know that she was very proud of her family. My condolences to all of you.
