Larry Carlson, 58,of Grenora, died in an automobile accident, Thursday, January 12, 2017.

Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home in Williston has been entrusted with arrangements and services.

Larry Leon Carlson was born on December 28th, 1958 to Severin and Betty Lou (McKay) Carlson in Williston North Dakota. He was raised and educated in Grenora and graduated from Grenora High School in 1978. Upon graduation Larry, Dad and brothers started Carlson's Service and Repair.

Larry was very helpful in his community and was always willing to lend a hand no matter the time or the situation. He helped take care of his mom for many years after his father’s passing in 1995. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing and all sorts of sports. He could tell stories for hours and hours always making people laugh. Larry was a great uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran church.

He will be very missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Betty of Grenora, ND. Brothers, Sillvan and his wife Young of Fairfax, VA, Richard of Sidney MT, Odean of Grenora, ND and Ron of Billings, MT. Sisters, Marilyn(Gary) Smith of Dagmar, MT and Carol Danielson of Billings, MT, and numerous nieces, nephews, great grand nieces and great grand nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Severin Carlson, his brother Dwayne Carlson and niece JoAnna Smith.

Carol and family may you find happiness in the memories that you have of Larry. Life doesn't always go as we'd like but with the good Lords help and with faith and prayer you will come out of this dark tunnel into the bright sunshine of life. He will never really be gone, because he is a part of each of you and will live in your hearts forever
