Ron was the nicest man in the whole world. I knew him from working at then Economart(now CashWise)in the front area as a grocery bagger. When I was struggling to deal with the drama, he came to me and told me I was the Best Worker around and hated seeing me upset. He always had me smiling after him and I had a short talk about not letting it get to me so much. He always knew what to say to bring out that smile in me. You will be missed by so many people Ron. Now you can meet your wife on the other side. Thank You Ron for helping me out in 2007.

Condolences to Ron's family. On trips back to Williston, I couldn't enter Economart without Ron recognizing me and engaging in conversation as if I just saw him yesterday. I'm sure many others shared this attention from him. He is among the most humble and sincere persons I have known.

I served with Ron on the Trustees at Our Redeemers Lutheran Church the past couple years. You couldn't find a nicer guy to serve on a committee with. He always volunteered to do devotions at our monthly meetings, never fail. He will sorely be missed! God Bless, Ron.

You meet some great people in your Lifetime, One of the greatest I ever met was Ron Johnson. You would have to look Long an Hard to find a nicer more kind hearted generous man than Ron. And I had the Great Honor to call him my Father in Law. They say the good ones go to soon and with both Ron and Dee that was all so True.

Ron's Family, We were so sad to hear of his passing. Ron was one of the most kind and sincere and genuine persons we have known. His smile would always great us when ever and where ever he saw us and these past years he reminded us how much he missed the Coast-To-Coast Store. He will be missed by so many. He leaves many wonderful memories for all to treasure until the heavenly reunion. AMEN Rest In Peace.Lowell and Carol J Sandvik..Williston, ND

We are so sorry to hear about Ron passing. Sorry for all of us but happy for him. He is free of pain and suffering and he is reunited with his bride. We will miss him at Dakota Farms. He always took a doggie bag home for princess. Doug knew Ron way back in the Co-op days. They both went on to manage stores for Gary and Sharon Lapka....and Myron and Avilla Ernst. Ron came to Sidney, Montana to watch over that store when we went on our honeymoon in 1979. We used to go to buyers fairs in Bismarck and was always a fun time with Ron and DeeDee. We will remember them both with a smile. May God comfort you during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

Reading all the messages here is so heartwarming and helps me to remember what an amazing man Ron was!!! I, like many, worked with Ron at economart and also had the privilege of helping him to open and work at the econostop west store for a couple years. That is when I learned what a truly kindhearted and sweet, simple man he was! I moved away for college etc. and returned to Williston 6 yrs later...he still remembered me and like previously mentioned, always wanted to know how life was going and made me feel so special during our chats! I happened to work at Rickard school on my return to Williston...I would park on the corner by his home--again getting to see him occasionally and have my day be brightened by his greetings!!! May his family find peace in knowing he made a positive difference in so many people's lives!!! So sad that he is no longer here with us, but happy for him being able to join his wife!!!
