Age: 89

Raymond was born on December 4, 1926 (joined with a twin Ralph Brown) in Enid, MT to parents Eugene and Mary (Carda) Brown. In 1931, they moved to the valley farm Southeast of Sidney, MT. Raymond attended all twelve years of schooling in Sidney and graduated in 1945. In June of 1945, he was inducted into the United States Army where he served until he was honorably discharges two years later. After his discharge, Raymond started farming in partnership with his brother, Robert. They fed cattle in the winter and he also worked at the sugar factory. They sold the farm and purchased a home in Sidney where they retired. Raymond so loved working in his garden.
Raymond was a very faithful member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church and was a member of the Knight of Columbus.
Raymond entered the Eastern Montana Veterans Home in August of 2015 and he died early Thursday morning, July 28, 2016.
He is survived by: his twin brother, Ralph (Donna) Brown of Sidney, MT; his sister, Vivian Leischner of Billings, MT; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his brothers, Adley, Eugene, Robert, Wesley, LaVern, and Glenn; and his sister, Helen (Harold) Fink.

I remember from St.Matthews.He was a very kind and good man.I know Ralph and Donna and family will miss him very much.My condolences to them and their family.

We will miss Ray Saturday night Mass. We will miss his big smile and his warm greeting. He was a special man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
