Michael John Keenan, 77, passed away peacefully after suffering with Alzheimer’s on May 27, 2016 at Bethel Lutheran Home in Williston, ND.

Michael was born on March 10, 1939 to Daniel Emmet Keenan and Esther Grace Spivey in San Mateo, California. He served in the U.S. Navy, the Army and eventually retired from the Air Force in 1979. The navy was his first love. He married Helen jean Wright in July of 1956.

She preceded him in death on January 2, 2015. Together they had three children Kelly Michelle (Kurt Anderson), Kevin Michael (Penny) Keegan, john Daniel Keegan, they had 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great- Grandchildren. He has a brother Marshall Keegan of Carson City, NV and his sister Susan Keegan of Great Falls, MT

The Family is grateful to Bethel Lutheran Home for the care of their father during his residency there.

Dear John and Family. We hadn't seen your Dad in a very long time and had no idea he had been ill. We just want you all to know what good friends he and your Mom were to us now long ago. We enjoyed your times at the cabin when you were young. We know they are happy to be together again. We send our sympathy to your family. Rick and Helen
