| Visitation will be on Friday, from 10:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Fulkerson Memorial Chapel in Sidney and one hour prior to the services at the Peoples Congregational Church in Sidney. |

| Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Savage, MT under the direction of the Fulkerson Funeral Home of Sidney. |

Henry T. Johnson was born in Wolf Point, MT, on July 30, 1934, to Edwin and Adeline (Holum) Johnson. He attended schools in Frazer and Brockton, MT. They moved to Fairview in 1946, graduating from Fairview High School in 1952. He spent all the summers of his youth at his grandparents’ farm, 7 miles west of Elmdale. On December 13, 1959 he married his true love of his life Leota Gregg Johnson in Savage, MT. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction field for 45 years retiring as a finished blade operator in 1996. He had his own business for 7 years and worked for other contractors in the business he loved, although his first choice was to be a farmer. High point of his career was running for Richland County Commissioner and getting elected in 1996, and serving for 2 terms. Henry was very involved in the Peoples Congregation Church including the Men’s breakfast and the Spring Dinner. He was a long time member of the Moose Lodge earning his pilgrim degree in 1999. Henry also held many offices in the local Lodge-Treasurer-Prelate, Jr. Governor, Governor; Moose Legion-Argus, Treasurer President; State level-District Vice President, and Executive Vice President; and Supreme level-Deputy Supreme Governor 1988-1999. He was also involved with Sons of Norway, the Elks Lodge, Action for Eastern Montana and Richland Economic Development. Henry’s hobbies were boating, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren; Chase & Cord Berg, Levi & Noah Johnson and Addie, Katie & Bridget Johnson, as well as his nephews and nieces. Henry died on Sunday evening, November 8, 2009, at the Corner Lot Care, Miles City, MT. Surviving him are: his wife, Leota of Miles City, MT; his sons, Bryan (Janet) Johnson, Arden Hills, MN, and Kent (Patty) Johnson, St. Michael, MN; his daughter, Cindy (Dale) Berg, Miles City, MT; his sister, JoAnn (Ernie) Cotter, Fairview, MT; his sister-in-law, Jolene (Cody) Taylor, Miles City; his brother-in-law, Bill (Linda) Gregg, Colstrip, MT; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin & Adeline Johnson, grandparents Henry & Sena Johnson and Theodore & Ida Holum, and all his aunts and uncles.
