Harriett A. was born on December 24, 1931 the eldest of six children to Nels and Nora (Sorensen) Baadsgaard. She lived in Sidney her whole life. She graduated from Sidney High School with the class of 1950. Harriett married Rudy Kringen in 1955. They were blessed with four children. Rudy died on December 14, 1971 and she was left to lovingly raise her children. She sold Avon, cooked in various places, worked at Reynolds, and was a salesperson for Thiruds Office Supply.

Harriett loved to garden, sew, quilt, and work with flowers. She loved to spend time with her family traveling, cooking, or visiting. She always had a loving smile on her face, a great sense of humor, and never complained. She was one classy lady. Harriett moved into The Lodge at Lone Tree in November of 2006. The care that she received there was exceptional. The caregivers and the staff became a second family to her and her family.

Our mother and grandmother, Harriett, went to her heavenly home on Friday, July 16, 2010.

Harriett is survived by her children, Pam (LeRoy) Unterseher, Fairview, MT, Randy (Suzie) Kringen, Kevin (Deb) Kringen, Val (Pat) Mathern, all of Sidney, MT; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; two brothers, Holger (Bev) Baadsgaard, Sidney, MT and Ron Baadsgaard, CA; three sisters, Edith Yarbrough, CA, Marlene (Elso) Reints, Jeffers, MT, Sharon (Don) Maltese, Helena, MT; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Harriett was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy; her parents, a sister in law and two brothers in law.

Mom and grandma we will always love you and we miss you already.
