I worked with her at Coast to Coast and enjoyed knowing her very much! A fine lady with a wonderful sense of humor. And yes.... a green thumb ... her rose bushes were always lovely!

In my many years working at JCPenneys, Evelyn was such a gracious and kind customer. It was a pleasure to serve her.

To Dear Evelyn's Family, I will most certainly miss Evelyn's warm Sunday morning hug and smile which I was privileged to receive for many years when coming to Trinity Lutheran for church services. She was so kind, gracious and soft spoken to everyone and we did share the time when she sang in choir, too. Evelyn was a good alto! Coming here as a young bride 62 years ago, meeting and knowing Evelyn all these years has been a blessing to me and now I will certainly miss her. Evelyn was a beautiful example of a faith-filled Christian and now that she is Home in Heaven, she is knowing the joy of being with her Savior. I know you all will find comfort and peace in Evelyn's joy.

To the Family of Evelyn,
I was a neighbor of Evelyn in the same apartment building years ago. She was such a fun and caring lady. We did yard work together and always had such great talks. When I moved several years later I would stop to say hello when she was still working hard again in her yard. She loved it and did such a great job. Always a smile and asking if all was going good. I loved getting to see her. RIP Evelyn.

I enjoyed sweet Evelyn when I worked at The Lodge and days after having a cup of coffee with her. She shared her story of her life and the store, working daily, and her children. Such a sweetheart. I will miss her. Prayers to her family.
