John was a friend I met through a mutual friend. John did some projects at our home and did a fine job. God needed a good carpenter to help build the mansion with many rooms, that is waiting for all of us. We will see you later buddy.

Vernon and I will really miss John. He was a part of our church family, American Legion post, carpenter at our home, and his witty personality was enjoyed over cups of coffee. God's Blessings to John's son and family.

I am so sad to hear of John's passing. He was a dear friend to my deceased husband, Tom & me back in the days of the 80's Home & Garden Expos and Builders Assoc! I was also especially fond of Norris & Gerda. I worked with Gerda designing draperies for her house in Tioga. What a sweet and dear lady! She was so proud of John and her grandson, Adam! I am assuming John got to enjoy the draperies if he moved back to the house in Tioga! With our sympathies, Phil & C'Dale

My family, starting with my dad Richard Burtch has rented the Wilson homestead since 1951. I always enjoyed my conversations with John. I was very sad to read of his passing. I hope that all of his family will find peace in knowing he is in a better place. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of help. Tom

I spent a few days working with John when he put new windows in our old farm house.He was a good guy enjoyed visiting with him . Sorry to lose him as a friend .my deepest sympathy to his family
