God Speed--fly like an Eagle Arch. A man who brought historical figures to life, taught and coached acting to kids of every age for decades.
Arch was a family man and managed a successful business. The "Voice of Sports" across the region, an in particular to his beloved Sidney Eagles. A man who game so much to so many, for so long. He will be dearly missed!

Hearing of Arch's "going Home" hits me hard and my heart goes out to his mother, my dear friend and neighbor, Grace. In his younger years Arch was a buddy and playmate of my boys, Todd and Bret. In fact, Arch, a year older than Todd, also his protector from neighborhood bullies, was the only one who got away with calling Todd, Toddy! Arch, at this young age, was a clever instigator of plays and circuses in which our kids took part with the plays being written, directed, acted in and produced by himself. Seeing Archer bring his elderly Mom. Grace, to church services at Trinity, taking communion with her and helping her take part in the services was beautiful. I thank God for Archer in our lives and now in God's grace and glory. Peace be with you Grace.

Whether it was "the" voice of a sports event or a historical personality or teaching the young of our community he was so much to our community. Rest in peace Arch we will miss you.

Arch will be missed by so many people from all over the area. No one announces games like him, making a blow out one sound like a nail biter! Plus he put heart & soul into his character impersonations and inspired so many kids that he taught over the years. RIP Arch.....

Arch was so patient with our individuals. He encouraged them to just be who they were. That was enough. ROI will forever remember and be indebted to him for letting our people fly and be who they were in plays and in person. You will be missed Arch, so very much.

Arch was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Although it would be years between seeing him he always had time to visit when I would be home visiting my parents.
God Speed Arch, you always were a great radio voice and a better person.

We met Arch through his work at the Confluence Center and Fort Buford. He was a great story teller and had the ability to hold all ages in his stories. He made history come to life. He will be greatly missed. Our sympathies to his family and friends.
