My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I have admired Jack for many years since he wrote the article "I loved you enough to say no". Used this as a guide to raising my children. Such a wonderful man and family.

My heartfelt sympathy to all of Jacks friends and family. I worked with Jack in the Credit/Collections dept. in the Sidney Hospital back in the early 80's. Yes, he was strict but always a straight shooter and he always gave good advice, was certainly an asset as a friend. I have great respect for him and his wife Marolyn. I remember some of the stories he used to share while raising his kids, He sure loved all of you! Keep all the good memories close at hand and know that you will all meet again someday. God Bless you all and his memory. Sincerely, Lisa Holst

My deepest condolences to the family for your loss. Our Heavenly Father gives us a comforting thought when He tells us that soon death will be "swallowed up forever." (1 Cor. 15:54) Along with this, God also promises that ones who have died will be able to live again. (John 5:28,29) I hope these encouraging scriptures can bring you some comfort during this difficult time.
