Well Allen always had a smile and great attitude every single day no matter the day. I consider him a dear friend and consider myself a better person to have just known him, as I am sure are a lot of other people. Words cannot express the love I still have for him or how much we will all miss Allen. Stay strong Team Shelley! Allen will always be there with you.

My condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. Losing someone you love is truly difficult and I know Allen will be missed. Please know our Heavenly Father holds out promises that can help us with our sorrow. One such promise is that death soon will be done away with forever (Revelation 21:4) and another promise is that "there is going to be a resurrection." (Acts 24:15) I pray these promises from God, who cannot lie, (Titus 1:2) bring you comfort.

I knew Allen very well as we were both going to college while he was attending Arizona State. We worked several years at a men's clothing store called J Riggings in Mesa. We had so much fun working together and he always had a smile for everyone and was the ultimate optimistist. At one time he wanted me to be his roommate, probably because he wanted to continue playing at the Shalimar golf course in Tempe where he also worked. In trying to track him down I discovered his passing. Blessings to his family, friends, wife and children. Allen was a man full of love and I consider him a great friend who I treasure from my late teens and early twenties. He truly had an impact on me always saying I could achieve anything in life. This was very important to hear as a first generation American from Mexican immigrants. May you be at peace my friend. - Gus (please feel free to contact me, I would love to share some of the great times we had as young men, trying to figure out our paths).
