When we lived in Williston, we would go and see Martin every week, he had such a great memory . We always visited about U. Ben his neighbor. Rest in peace - Martin

Martin and his brother were good friends of my Dad's. Sometimes they would stop at my place when I lived near Williston and we would have coffee or a meal. Martin was so interesting to visit with. I was able to make a trip to Williston last fall and I stopped to see Martin. Rest in peace my old friend.

We met Martin at Bethel a few months ago when he and my dad became table mates in the cafeteria. He was a character to be sure and we enjoyed getting to know him. He will be missed.

Although I did not know Martin as a friend I do remember him from my days working at the Woolworth lunch counter Martin would have coffee there would see him driving in his red Dodge trucks. When my mom went into Bethel I talked to Martin and told him I remembered him and his red trucks ,he laughed and told me his last one was white. RIP Martin.
